With what seemed to be all of the others gathered at the park Spade took it upon herself to patrol through the city, senses alert as her green alt. mode drove along the road with other cars. Soft country music poured out of the radio, the only thing that could possible distract her from the road.
Proudly bearing the Autobot symbol, there was no need for a holoform. Sure she made sure all of her windows were up and tinted, just to not scare anyone who couldn’t see the red sign or was new to the whole ‘robots from space’ thing. But besides that she was making it obvious of her alliance.
Spade made a smooth turn onto a new street, opening her scanners again and checking out the details like she did every time she reached a new portion of the city. It was one of the best ways to check, she had learned from many patrols out in the city. It would alert her to anything that was not supposed to be there so she could get rid of it.
Her wheels made a screeching noise when she made an abrupt stop, letting a stray cat run across the thin street she had turned on to. How bad would she have felt if she had hit that organic? It would’ve put a real damper on her mood. Making sure the road was clear again (it was strangely deserted for this time of day) Spade began moving again.

His goal? To get as far away from the park as damn well possible. His status? Stuck in organic traffic. Ew. Feuer had only now noticed how much time he had wasted at the park. Any moment now some do-good Autobot would make their way to the park to examine it and come to the conclusion that there were other bots in the city. And then they would come looking for him and recruit him and threaten him and…
He trailed off in his paranoia, making a sharp turn out of the crowded traffic and ignoring the honks of organics as they shook their fists at the speeding orange car. Feuer didn’t care if he was pretty much on the wrong side of the road by now, all that mattered was getting somewhere he could go faster.
Breaking onto a pretty much empty street allowed Feuer to relax a little, his paranoia slipping off of him like drops of water. Speaking of water, he needed to find a car wash so he could get the soot and grime off before redoing his paint job. His engine growled a little at the memory of Thunderstruck peeling his orange coat.
Now that he was a safe distance away from the park Feuer thought it would be best to give his current area a little scan. Driving like a maniac as he did before had jumbled his navigation stance and he couldn’t seem to fix it. Maybe getting a secure read on his location would—
Oh fuck. The orange car slowed severely, trying to get far away from the green car coming at him. That car was most definitely an Autobot… he didn’t need a scan to confirm the symbol. Then Feuer panicked, picking up speed and zooming past the Porsche, way above the speed limit.

Her scan died down and Spade was content with the status of the road. Now she could take it easy for a bit, seeing how she had done a fair bit of the city. Perhaps ride to the ocean and watched the waves or even check on the other Autobots located in the park. Yes, maybe she would do the later.
Then she noticed the orange car. Spade found it odd how the vehicle rapidly slowed down before taking off at an alarming speed. She couldn’t see the driver of it, but knowing these humans, it was probably a drunk driver. The random car movements seemed to fit one.
A drunk driver could be dangerous to others, she supposed. Determined to pull the human over Spade chased the orange car, easily catching up so she was almost side by side with it. Her engine growled and a sharp ”Pull over!” could be heard from the interior of the car.
As she waited for the car to stop Spade once again scanned it, just to check on the condition of the driver and possible passengers. Imagine her surprise to learn that the speeding vehicle was Cybertronian. For a second she felt glad that it wasn’t a reckless human speeding but then she realized the car had been speeding away from her.
Why would it being speeding away from her? Spade wondered, repeating her command.
Decepticon?

When he was commanded to ‘pull over’ by the green Autobot Feuer literally cried out in fear. He increased his speed, barreling down the straight road with no particular destination in mind. He just wanted to get away from the Autobot who was chasing him. In his panicked Feuer began to wish he had gone in the other direction after leaving the park. Then he wouldn’t be in this situation.
Or if he had stayed longer (even just a little longer) he probably could have avoided this forsaken predicament. Maybe if the douche-bag of a ‘bot had just spent the extra ten seconds to give Feuer his name the green car would have passed by this spot before he even got here.
The second time he was told to pull over Feuer could have sworn he saw his life flash before his eyes. Then he realized he had spent too much time on Earth and was letting their sayings get to him. With a whimper he lightened up on the gas petal, slowing down so he was only a notch or two above the speed limit. His side view windows rotated so he could keep the approaching car in his site.
”Today is not my day,” he grunted out, turning into a parking lot that seemed to be pretty deserted. He would have to talk his way out of this one, that he would. Feuer did not want the green Porsche to call for backup. Running would only lead to having more ‘bots chasing him.
Stopping in the parking lot, he let the alarm bleep a few times, a high pitched chirping noise that would surely let the other know he was staying put here.

Maybe her earlier guess of ‘Decepticon’ was wrong, Spade thought as she increased her speed once more to catch the speeding Cybertronian. Never had she known a Decepticon (not that she was on speaking terms with one) to run in fear of an Autobot. They were always blood thirsty enough to turn around and fight.
Then again, she was sure there were some Decepticons who were rather cowardly and would much rather run from a pursuing Autobot than turn and fight. There were always cowards, no matter what alliance one was. There was also the chance that the Decepticon was on a mission and couldn’t risk being caught or injured.
The car alarm grabbed her attention and Spade almost missed the turn she would have to take to follow the orange vehicle into the parking lot. Some patrol she was, almost losing the only target that had popped up all day.
“Keep moving,” she spoke again, ordering the strange car to start up again. Spade had no intention of talking to this car in her current form nor did she feel like transforming in such plain site. They’d go behind the nearby shopping store and she could interrogate the other car there.

The rattling noise coming off of the orange car would have been a blunt point to any human that it needed to see a mechanic. The car was shaking so hard one might think that it was actually shivering. Well, one would be right if they thought that. The car – or robot, whichever you prefer – really was shivering.
It was safe to say Solarfeuer was scared out of his processor. He had just come from a very… interesting meeting at the park which rattled him slightly only to bump into an Autobot who had proceeded to chase him down into this practically deserted fleshie parking lot.
And now the bot, who he just realized was a femme, was commanding him to keep moving, directing him to a spot behind the building. Feuer had no clue at all what was going to happen here, but the thought that he was going to be forced to join up or get killed kept playing in his thoughts, images of his own death at the hands of this green femme repeating over and over again.
He gave a really heavy shudder complete with groan of pain as he turned behind the building, side view mirrors still locked on his capturer. ”W-What do ya’ w-want from me, Princess?” Feuer said as he transformed up, trying his very best to keep his voice still. Now was not the time to look scared. Even if he was. [/blockquote]

The fact that the Decepticon (Spade refused to acknowledge him as anything else) was quivering and shaking just because he was being led behind a store by a lone Autobot almost made Spade feel bad for him. Then she realized that it was a high chance that the bot was just pulling her leg and that it all was a front.
Once they reached the back of the shop Spade waited for the mech do change first, which, thankfully, he did soon. She was feeling just a tad impatient today and wanted to know about the other stat. As he spoke she changed herself, green armor moving over shifting gears until she stood tall again. Well at least they’d be even in a battle, she thought. The mech was hardly bigger than she was.
”W-What do ya’ w-want from me, Princess?”
Spade smiled at the nickname. And the poor attempt to keep a brave front. Suddenly all her previous thoughts of a Decepticon melted away. There was no symbol anywhere on the mech’s body (from what she could see) and he had yet to make an attempt on her life. An Autobot wouldn’t put humans in harms way though. Maybe he was new? She couldn’t recall any news of a new recruit coming to Earth…
“You could have hurt someone, you know.” That seemed like the best way to start speaking with the other. “With your speeding. It wasn’t the safest choice, especially in such a big city like this one. Could I have your name please? And perhaps your reason for being on Earth?” Her voice was light and slightly ditzy as she spoke, trying to keep the other from lashing out.

Even if it would make escaping quickly difficult come the need to escape, Feuer still found himself leaning up against a wall, relying on the cold bricks for support as he waited for the green femme to answer his question. She transformed quickly and it irked him to see their sizes. Stupid tall femme.
And then she began to go on about how he could’ve hurt a fleshie. Did it look like he gave a flying fuck about any of these Earth fleshies? Because if it did Feuer would have to fix that. All this ‘humans’ were just so annoying. Always gawking at him and ogling and… ok well maybe they were good for an ego boost.
”Could I have your name please? And perhaps your reason for being on Earth?”
”Oh no, not this again. If ya’ want ta’ know my name ya’ will tell me yours first. So right now. Yeah, now, gimme your name ya’ femme.” His optics were twitching and his fingers gripped at the brick wall, poorly trying to find something – anything – to grip on to. He had been in this situation way too many time for his liking in the past few… minutes.
”…M’on Earth because they blow things up on the fourth of July.” Well it was true. While it may not have been his initial reason for coming to the organic planet it was one of the only reasons he had chosen to stay. ”What’s it matter ta’ ya’, anyway?"

What was wrong with this bot? He seemed genuinely afraid of Spade and it puzzled her. She was not intimidating (at least she didn’t think so) and could not understand why her presence would spook this mech so much. Weren’t mechs supposed to be brave and courageous anyway?
”Oh no, not this again. If ya’ want ta’ know my name ya’ will tell me yours first. So right now. Yeah, now, gimme your name ya’ femme.”
Again? Had another Autobot already spoken to this mech about him being here on Earth? That might explain why he was so nervous and looked like he was about to break down at any minute. Though why he was so defensive about learning her name first Spade didn’t know. “Spade,” she said kindly. “My name is Spade. Now can you tell me yours?”
“What’s it matter ta’ ya’, anyway?”
“I was checking to make sure you would not do harm to anyone. You will not, will you? You do not seem to be a Decepticon looking for trouble, at least to me you don’t.” Now that she noticed, the mech in front of her was not in the greatest shape. Not only was he covered in grime but he was also injured, the wound patched up poorly. “…Are you alright?” She asked quietly.

“My name is Spade. Now can you tell me yours?”
”…Solarfeuer.” At least he knew the others name. He wouldn’t have to worry about that nagging feeling he would get if the green femme never actually told him. And he wouldn’t have to rely on guesswork made by some busted lie detector. ”Just use Feuer.”
It’d be too funny if this Autobot had a lie detector on her.
“I was checking to make sure you would not do harm to anyone. You will not, will you? You do not seem to be a Decepticon looking for trouble, at least to me you don’t.
Leave it to the Autobot to be worried about someone getting hurt. It was so typical of her, Feuer thought. Couldn’t she be unique or something and not act like any other Autobot he had ever seen? Well at least she didn’t think he was a Decepticon, like most others would.
”M’not a ‘Con, femme. Not no Autobot either. Just Feuer, no ties or nothin’.” Her next question threw him off though. What was with other Cybertronians today and making sure he was ok? ”Dandy, Autobot. M’just dandy.”

Spade giggled suddenly. The way the mech – Feuer – spoke was funny, she couldn’t help but laugh. She wondered if it was because of where he landed that made him speak like that or if he had always spoken with an accent. And now that she knew his name Spade felt a lot more comfortable around him.
Well maybe comfortable wasn’t the best word.
“Well then, ‘Just Feuer’, it’s nice to meet you.” To be quite honest Spade had never met a neutral bot before. Maybe this one would be willing to spill a little of what it was like not having ties to a faction. Being an extremely loyal Autobot she just couldn’t imagine it.
“You don’t look dandy, though. Your armor is all dirt and your paint is scratched. Plus that wound you have doesn’t look like it was patched up too well. If you want I could take you to our medic, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind helping you. And the other bots are always happy to see a new face…” She trailed off, not sure how the orange mech would respond to that. [/blockquote]

”…S’nice ta’ meet ya’ too?” He said warily, watching the giggling femme with a strange glint. It was a mix of paranoia, amazement, and amusement, he thought. Feuer was still petrified that this femme was going to try something but at the same time he couldn’t help but be amazed at how nice (was that the right word?) she was being. And the giggling just amused him.
“You don’t look dandy, though. Your armor is all dirt and your paint is scratched. Plus that wound you have doesn’t look like it was patched up too well. If you want I could take you to our medic, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind helping you. And the other bots are always happy to see a new face…”
Then he froze. He probably would have fallen backwards if there was no brick wall holding him up. But that slipped his mind—all he could think about was that the femme did want him back at the Autobot Earth base and that she was trying some strange tactic at getting him to join up. Medic would be happy to his aft… he heard rumors about the grumpy old mech. And he doubted that the mech would take kindly to a stranger. A neutral one at that.
Yet Feuer couldn’t find himself to get mad at the femme. No, all he could do was clutch at the brick wall pathetically and whimper incoherent things, black visor sliding into place over his optics as he tried to find his bearings.
”I-I said I was dandy, Spade. Just leave me a-alone, alright? I don’t need ya’ help or anyone’s h-help, I can fix myself up fine.” [/blockquote]

Spade jumped on guard when the other leaned more against the wall. There was a still a chance he would try something and Spade would not let the mech get the best of her. Oh no, she was ready with her weapons if he tried to jump her or escape. He needed help, obviously, and Spade was not one to leave someone who needed help behind.
When instead the mech began to shake and whimper Spade felt her spark clutch. So maybe he wasn’t that threatening and her assumption had been a fast one. In fact, right now he just seemed pitiful. Though she’d never say that out loud. Slowly she reached for Feuer, trying her best to calm down the other robot.
”I-I said I was dandy, Spade. Just leave me a-alone, alright? I don’t need ya’ help or anyone’s h-help, I can fix myself up fine.”
Her arm didn’t pull back when he spoke. “Feuer don’t say things like that. You’re wounded and unstable, regardless of what you think you need to get some real help. Not some sad excuse for a patch job. Now just calm down and follow me, I’ll take you back to our medic and you’ll be as good as new in no time.” [/blockquote]

When would this femme learn that he just didn’t want help? All he wanted now was to be alone for a long, long time so he could forget this day ever happened. He did not want to be taken back to the Autobot base to be ‘repaired’. For all he knew getting repaired would be like some initiation into the fraction and Feuer was not going to risk that.
He grimaced at her approaching hand, wanting so bad to swat it away but not able to find the strength to move. All he could do now was curse the choice he had made today because they had come back to bite him in the aft. Hard. And Feuer disliked it immensely.
”I said I was fine ya’ stupid femme. Leave me alone, would’ja? Stop freakin’ pretending ya’ gonna help or even if ya’ are gonna help ya’ just gonna get me ta’ join up with ya’ silly Autobots—I DON’T WANT TA’ GO WITH YA’.” He let a large gust of air from his vents as he slumped more against the wall.
Maybe if he had packed one more explosive for the day he could use it now. It would take him out and bring him away from the day that made him want to end it all. And it would most likely take out the femme who kept making his day worse. [/blockquote]

Thunderstruck had finally found a gas station and refilled his tank, while ignoring the packets of cigarettes-- a pitiful weapon, really-- that were thrown at him. What, did they think he'd just keel over and get cancer? Baha~!
Once he finished that task, he quickly reverted to alt mode and shot off like a rocket, away from the gas station, laughter audible to all. He speeded just a little, weaving through traffic-- earning angry honks from the drivers-- before slowing down, rolling at a leisurely pace that just screamed I own the road.
It was then he heard yelling, and he shuddered; That voice! Where-- how? "Feuer?" Thunderstruck whispered, growing confused. Where was he? He sounded... strangely afraid. But maybe that was just Thunderstruck.
Whatever the case, though, Thunderstruck tracked down Feuer's voice and found himself slinking behind a Shopping Store, eyeing the back of a femme who seemed to have cornered the smaller, orange mech. Quiet as a mouse, Thunderstruck transformed, inching closer and closer to the two, face oddly devoid of emotions. Slipping a hand into his subspace pocket, he pulled out his energon scaple.
Pressing a button, the scaple expanded into a staff as silently as Thunderstruck could possibly manage, the shadow of the store blending with his soot covered armor, diamond-clear optics glowing in the darkness. Earlier that day, Thunderstruck had set off an explosive-- a rather small one, but nonetheless, still an explosive. No one had been damaged-- well, except Solarfeuer. He had gotten shrapnel into his side. But well, Thunderstruck hadn't been damaged, so that's what mattered.
The closer he got to the femme, the air seemed to tense more and more with each step he took; lifting his staff, Thunderstruck jerked his hands forward, the staff moving at a deathly speed as it went over the femme's shoulder and the energon knifed tip stopped near her face. There, he held it like that, and growled, voice suddenly deep and gravelly "Step away from thee Feuer and no bot is gonna get hurt." He meant to sound intimidating, but his usual happiness voice seemed to creep into the forced one, and he settled with giving a soft curse.
So much for intimidating.
