Name: Bludgeon
Race: Bot
Gender: Male programming
Age: Many hundreds of years. The Cybertronian equivalent of 'about eighty'.
Origin: Forged on Cybertron.
Allegiance: Decepticon.
Description:
A bot clad from head to foot in gray-green and red-brown armor that fits him like a glove and gives him the look of a samurai.
Wears a bone-white, skull-like death mask beneath his horned helmet, the eye-holes of which reveal his glowing red eyes. The only ones who have seen him unmasked are long dead - mostly by his hand.
Sometimes wears two black backflags with the Decepticon symbol emblazoned on each.
Transforms into a Cybertronian tank.
In robot mode, fights using two diamond-hard, micro-serrated blades that retract into his forearms when not in use, and high-powered, helmet-mounted antennae that fire bolts of electricity. Has smoke generators in his legs, which he uses to disorient enemies and mount 'vanishing tricks'. Battle armor secretes corrosive slime (to which he is immune). Tank mode mounts a high-voltage electric cannon.
Past:
A contemporary and peer of Yoketron's, Bludgeon ran a rival dojo specializing in the ancient and forbidden Cybertronian combat art of Metallikato prior to the Great War. Among the many notable learners and exponents of his two-sword fighting style were Megatron and (much later) Cyclonus. The former intrigued Bludgeon with his sociopolitical views, and the old master was subsequently involved in training his student's force of Decepticon rebels. His role as an instructor of warriors did not prevent Bludgeon from fighting on the front lines, and the Great War saw him building upon his already fearsome reputation as a first-rate swordsman. He continued to play both roles long after war's end, and is currently engaged in tutorial duties at the Decepticon base on New Kaon.
Other:
Possesses a genuine sense of honor - believes in giving all opponents a fighting chance. Beyond that fighting chance he offers, however, an opponent can expect no mercy from him.
Is highly religious; has extensively studied the ancient and mystic legends of Cybertron.
Does not hold any formal rank among the Decepticons; instead holds the special post of 'Martial Mentor', and is respected by all.
Vigorous, relentless training has kept him in peak physical condition despite his advanced years.
Extremely agile in robot mode; his prowess at close-in fighting is legendary. This maneuverability is a quality he sacrifices in tank mode, however.
Cold and emotionless to outsiders and enemies, but shows a caring side to his students, particularly the younger ones. This fatherly nature paradoxically makes him all the more menacing, and may also work against him.
I am a Decepticon.
