Name: Switchfire
Race: Bot
Gender: Male
Age: 340 solarcycles
Origin: Cybertron
Allegiance: Autobot (spy and reconnaissance agent)
Description:
Past:
Switchfire worked for the Autobots as an undercover spy. An Autobot mole named Backlash in the Decepticon forces informed the Autobots that the Decepticons had discovered a way to wipe the memories of prisoners and they were working on a way to rewire their circuitry so that they worked for the Decepticon side. During this transmission of information, however, Backlash was discovered. The Autobots send in Switchfire to try and help him escape; however, Switchfire was captured and taken prisoner.
Once in custody, the Decepticons wiped his memory and reprogrammed him as a Decepticon; he is fitted with a pair of shoulder jets, his history is changed on file so that no one, save the officials who were in charge of his case, knew where he came from. He was put in a small fighting squadron and followed his orders without question. While out on a scouting mission, he comes within range of an Autobot energy signature, which reactivates a memory chip that had been planted inside him before he was sent out by the Autobots to rescue Backlash. The chip, which had been in hibernation until now, restored his memory, and he returned to the Decepticon station where they were holding Backlash.
He finds the mole and communicates with him, learning that the Decepticons had not wiped Backlash's memory because he had valuable information about the Autobots that was needed. Switchfire tries but fails at communicating back to the Earth-stationed Autobots; during his reprogramming, his frequency had been switched to that of the Decepticon signal. Instead, Switchfire radios the Decepticons in the area and informs them that he's found a fleet of Autobots preparing to attack. He uses this distraction to spring Backlash, and they make it pretty far away before they're caught. They're engaged in a battle, but are saved when the Autobots arrive. Backlash, once out of his cell, was able to communicate back home and get help. They return to Earth, where Switchfire fills the Autobots in with the information he'd learned.
However, he slowly begins to realize that some of the events that happened while he was there seemed too coincidential. For instance, how could the Decepticons actually let an Autobot become part of their force without drawing too much attention? And how had the escape from Backlash's prison cell go so smoothly? He did a little bit of eavesdropping on Backlash and came to the conclusion that the mole was actually a double agent. He has yet to tell anyone, but he's convinced that if he doesn't get enough proof to expose Backlash soon, the Decepticon will take them down from back here at home base.
Other:
He can't fly in alternate mode. The jets tuck away under the car when he transforms.
He gets an audiofull of screeching feedback whenever Decepticons communicate long-range when around him, since part of his programming was changed to Decepticon frequencies.

Description:
ROBOT MODE
Reference Picture
Switchfire isn't particularly tall; he stands about even with TFA Prowl. His torso consists of the hood of his alt mode, as well as the headlights and vent grills. Overall, his metal is white, and the orange streaks appear from the wheels at his feet, streaking up his legs. They also show on his arms and the edges of his shoulders, and finally the sides of his helmet. The rest of his under-armor is black. The bottoms of his feet and a little up the sides are also black. The last of the black can be found as his gloves, and the part of his helmet that follows his face. His skin, which shows only on his face and fingers, is a grayish-blue color.
His back tires are located at his heels. His front tires swivel around to be parallel with his back, just behind his shoulders. He has two jet-boosters that were attached to his shoulder blades, and they play host to his tires. (Refer to history as to why he has jets.)
ALT MODE
Switchfire transforms into a white Aston Martin Vantage. He has custom flame-like racing stripes that begin at the base of his front tires and streak horizontally across his side. The top one ends about even with his back tires. His alt form's windows are tinted an illegal dark, and they match his headlights and tires, as well as the two vents on his hood. Sleek and low, his alt form is built for speed.
PERSONALITY
Switchfire, being a spy, has learned to be naturally wary of others and their intentions. He often finds himself scrutinizing the actions and analyzing the words of other bots. He's hesitant when someone makes a genuine offer to be friendly, though once he's learned that they mean him no harm, the Autobot will be quick to warm up to them. Once you're his friend, Switchfire will begin to show true emotions, rather than the pleasant charm that he often hides behind.
Personality points;
He has a love for high-adventure activities, and is a bit reckless with what he does adventure-wise. Has a Cockney accent. Good-spirited and determined, but loves complaining. Arrogant and somewhat aggressive, but isn't self-centered: his strong mindset is usually put to use defending others and their opinions.
