What in tarnation happened here?
Viral turned to see Ratchet, surprise etching itself into Viral's faceplates. The he scowled, and said "A-Ask Pepto Bismol o-over t-there. I'm g-going t-to find P-Prowl." He said simply, rolling away from the group. Back once turned to them, Viral let himself put on a sulky expression, shoulders slumping forward as he took off into the foliage, weaving through the trees and calling Prowl's name.
"HEY. P-Prowl? W-where a-are y-you? S-Say Viral Rules i-if y-you c-can h-hear me!"

"What in tarnation happened here?"
What? Who says tarnation? Adrian raised her eyes to see the red and white ambulance bot that had just arrived. He had some sort of pot belly - weird - and had an old looking face. Adrian gave him an odd look. She didn't know robots aged physically too.
'Turns out these aliens have more to them more than meets the eye.' She mused, thinking back to the times when she believed they were a government operation or something. After awhile, she slowly stopped believing in that theory, but had never thought much of any of them. She never fully understood what huge disagreement the Autobots and Decepticons had had anyway.

from afar prowl's sensor at the side of his optics flashed, audits picking up the low tones of his comrades in the clearing. he had almost hesitated with his previous idea, of keeping just one other hologram elsewhere, but a good choice at that. he felt the salty, vicious tang of blood hit his sensors and shifted himself in surprise. he was leant against an oak in the forested area, sparked wiring carefully tilted away from the leaves and other possible undergrowth that might be ignited. not as far off as before, he heard viral's voice. with a grunt, he shifted himself upward, pushing heavily against the tree to upright himself - decided that he would not allow viral of all bots to see him like this.
as he moved his servos grinded a little in their place, but he steeled himself and uprighted himself, though his servo went immediately to his shoulder, clinging it as the pain jolted through his wiring. he stumbled out into view, seeing the orange bot not far before him. he ignored the words that were called, instead stumbling a few steps forward and voice practically growling at the other bot, 'the organic - i smelt blood, where are they? are they alright? if you've done anything to harm it-'

Viral jumped when Prowl stumbled into his veiw, injured and looking like all sorts of hurt. Surprise flooded Viral's sensors, mouth parting in a shocked "o". He never realized the real damage that the cyberninja had sustained! "P-Prowl! R-Ratchet i-is h-here! Y-you n-need t--"
'the organic - i smelt blood, where are they? are they alright? if you've done anything to harm it-'
Viral interrupted him with a loud snarl, vectors twitching. "How dare you!" He cried, visor flashing. "Of all the--!! What the pit is wrong with you? I just risked my own aft to save Adrian and you think I'd hurt her after all that?" He snapped, temper rearing it's ugly little head.
A moment of silence passed by, and then Viral added a soft "You are all the same, aren't you? Every last one of you fragging Autobots think that, just because I use to be a decepticon, I'mma jump you went you ain't looking! I don't even have weapons, and you look at me like I'm some type of walking armory ready to blow." Then he hissed, like a serpent, and said "You are such an aftplate, Prowl! You really do think I'm going to hurt her, don't you?"
He didn't wait for an answer.
"Sure, I may have attitude, but it's because of you and the autobots. I don't like you, but I try to, and I stutter... oh, the stuttering! I do it-- I don't know why I should-- because I make myself look weak! So you don't blast me in the back! What the pit-- what fragging pit! I'm tired of it-- of it all! I should just leave your aft in the forest! Then he began to laugh, just a little, at a random thought.
"Become plant food for all I care! Irony-- IRONY. Oh, how it hurts!" He stopped, finally, panting with exhaustion from his "speech". Looking up at Prowl, Viral scowled and said "C-c'mon, Prowl. L-let me h-help y-you... R-Ratchet i-is w-waiting." He said bitterly, rolling over to the cyberninja's side, holding out a vector for the mech.
"I d-don't e-expect y-you t-to l-like m-me, but j-just s-so y-you k-know... I'm still trying."

"What in tarnation happened here?"
Thankful for the medic’s speedy arrival, Jazz waved his hand down to point out the human. ”She’s been hurt, pops. We had a run in with a ‘Con which led to Viral freakin’ out and well…” He trailed off, sure that Ratchet could figure out what happened next just by looking at the human. ”She’s also got a pre-existing condition of sorts.”
Jazz wondered if it was best to have Viral go find Prowl. Perhaps he should have volunteered instead, though Ratchet probably would have been given mixed stories from the stuttering orange ‘bot. Jazz kept his optics on the other as Viral wheeled off through the park, chuckling a little at Viral’s request to Prowl.
”Anyway, the girl needs ta’ get ta’ a hospital and Prowl’s probably gonna need some repairs when Viral comes back with him.” If Prowl was in the same shape as the hologram Jazz had been holding earlier was then ‘probably’ was not the right word for him.
When Viral started yelling (Jazz could only pick out a few words and wondered exactly what pissed the other off so much) the white bot’s head found his head. Next time he would go find the injured ally and Viral could stay with Ratchet.

"A-Ask Pepto Bismol o-over t-there. I'm g-going t-to find P-Prowl."
Assuming Pepto Bismol meant Jazz, the medic turned to face him, looking both curious and annoyed at the same time. There had to be a good explanation for the injured human standing around a bunch of huge robots and a reason why Prowl wasn’t with them. If Viral had to go find him that meant they didn’t know where he was.
“We had a run in with a ‘Con which led to Viral freakin’ out and well…”
“A Decepticon? Here?” Ratchet grumbled, rubbing a finger against his temple. That would explain everything in a way, he supposed. Those Decepticons always caused mayhem of some sort, though how the park got covered in steam was still unknown to Ratchet. He’d just have to wait until one of them gave a full report back at base, now wasn’t much of a time for a detailed explanation.
Jazz was right about the human needed assistance, though. They’d have to take the girl to whatever hospital was closest before heading back to base and tending to other matters. Now where was Viral with Prowl? He should have found the other by now and—
This was really not the time to be yelling at each other. But at least the yelling meant that no one had gone offline. ”Young bots…”

prowl inwardly winced as viral seemed to loose his nerve, but his face remained as unmoved as ever, visor glinting lightly in the air. keeping his right shoulder held for stability he took a few unaided steps toward viral, before stopping, swaying lightly and speaking once again. 'viral, you must understand how we cannot be expected to simply open our arms with entire trust to a former decepticon, you could be the nicest bot in the world and we would still think twice before leaving our backs unguarded. that's just how it is, we've all dealt with it when we joined up, however or the other we were forced into it.' prowl stopped abruptly, momentarily worried he'd said too much.
he took a breath before continuing, 'besides, you've never exactly acted fondly toward organics, have you?.. look, i don't mean to offend, but we've just come from a war with an enemy that has before infiltrated our ranks, we don't exactly look too kindly to switchers.' he paused again, before adding on, in a quieter tone, 'i don't ask you to like me, viral, just to work with me.' he stopped again, momentarily considering viral's outstreched servo before reaching out with his left and taking it, right servo curling under his already-wounded chest. he leant as lightly as he could, but as it was, that wasn't too lightly, before looking up and hearing not too far off the grumble of ratchet's familiar voice.
prowl's injuries were just as bad as the hologram's, if not worse, messier, he hadn't been able to focus on the details when creating the holo's as much. plus bending metal from even further away seemed to take a toll on prowl even more, his eyes lacked a particular emphasis or force and his voice was drab, almost coolly relaxed, but weak. he had sustained a heavy shot to his back, the force of which had blown through to expose his circuitry, his chest was not much better off than this, some of the wiring within frayed. on his right shoulder a blow had cut through several wires and the injury sparked every now and then fiercely.

"I d-didn't s-say t-that y-you s-should t-throw a p-party f-for m-me, P-Prowl." Viral then thought about his rant. He really wasn't paying attention to it, but he hoped he hadn't been too desperate sounding... right? He didn't ask for a welcome. He just wanted... oh, pit. He did want a welcome.
But Viral was never going to say that out-loud.
"Just... w-want y-you t-to t-try a-and u-understand. F-from m-my p-point o-of v-view. T-that's a-all. E-even j-j-just a little." Viral admitted, leading the cyberninja carefully through the trees.
'besides, you've never exactly acted fondly toward organics, have you?.. look, i don't mean to offend, but we've just come from a war with an enemy that has before infiltrated our ranks, we don't exactly look too kindly to switchers.'
"C-Can I t-tell y-you a s-story?"
He didn't wait for an answer.
"I d-don't want a-anything f-from y-you in r-return f-from t-this. I-I'm j-just t-tellin' y-you 'bout m-myself. A l-little t-tale to... lighten the mood." Viral said dryly, then added "Once upon a time, I joined the decepticon army. You know this already, but I don't think you know why I defected. See, they saw me as useless-- which, I concur, sadly, it's true-- and... tried to... well, they do this with every bot that's useless to them. They offline 'em. Barely managed to get away in one piece, I did." Viral said, voice lowered to a drone. "N-not exactly a s-story, b-but y'see, m-my p-point i-is, I-I've b-been t-twitchy e-ever s-since then. I-It m-might h-help e-explain w-why I-I'm s-such an... a-aftplate. B-but, y'know, w-whatever. It c-could j-just b-be t-that I h-have 'con oil f-flowing t-through me. I d-don't r-really k-know m-myself." Viral didn't know why he was telling the cyberninja all this. Didn't realize he was babbling, either. It just felt like Prowl... was there for him.
Viral snorted a laugh at that thought, giggles escaping him. Oh, that was rich! Shoulders shaking, Viral had to stop for a moment to regain control over himself, snorts echoing off the trees. Then, with a cough, Viral straightened himself and glanced at Prowl and said "...F-Funny t-thought. P-Pay n-no attention."
'i don't ask you to like me, viral, just to work with me.'
"Y-yeah, w-well, s-since I d-don't l-like y-you a-anyways, I-I'm n-not g-going to l-listen t-to that, a-and ke-keep doing w-what I-I've b-been d-doing s-so f-far." The silent, I'm going to keep trying hung in the air as Viral finally lead Prowl to the group, face devoid of emotion.

prowl listened as viral practically spilled his guts of his past to him and found himself surprised at the sincerity of the story and the regret the bot evidently fealt about his previous choice. he stopped himself from saying at least you never went to the stockades, instead shaking away the spite he had fealt to the autobots for the time he'd spent there in the past. once he finished, prowl looked at him, they were just a few steps away from the other bots when prowl choose his words and let them slip, words that one might never have expected to come up in a prowl-viral conversation. 'i trust you...' his voice was low, so that only viral might hear when they came into step with the other bots.
all sympathy vanished from his face like viral's emotion had, prowl releasing himself from his support and took a step forward, before stopping, feeling unsteady. in a moment of "stupid" prowl looked at ratchet and commented, his voice somewhat wavery, 'i'm hurt.' it sounded like an almost incrediculous statement, like how could i be hurt?! but also slightly sad, as if he'd failed in his task.

'i'm hurt.'
Ratchet snorted at that, the very-human gesture odd coming from a ‘bot, even if it was appropriate for this moment. ”You are?” He drawled, mocking the younger mech only slightly. ”Couldn’t tell.” After all, he only was a skilled medic who had worked this occupation for longer than most of these other ‘bots had even been online. Yeah, there was no way he could tell that Prowl was injured. He definitely needed the other to explain to him that he was.
Dropping the act, Ratchet began looking over the bots assembled before him, concluding that Prowl was injured far more than the others. They’d have to head back now to begin repairs immediately. In fact, he was just about to order the whole group back when he remembered the human girl who also needed repairs.
… He really couldn’t do that. ”Jazz, take the girl to a human medical unit. Viral goes as back up, Prowl comes with me.”

Adrian watched the proceedings through half-lidded eyes, flinching as pain arced through her every now and again. She also winced when Prowl was finally found. He looked as awful as she felt. But... She thought as she looked down at her bloody clothes. I do look pretty awful. ”Jazz, take the girl to a human medical unit. Viral goes as back up, Prowl comes with me.”At that, Adrian turned her head around and up to look at Jazz. She blinked at him for a moment. He looked upside down. "Sup."[/blockquote]

Even though Jazz had been expecting Prowl to be injured, he hadn’t really expected that much damage. At least the black and gold mech was still walking and hadn’t fallen off line yet, that was definitely a good sign, Jazz decided as the other Autobots approached them. There was still the need to rush each of the injured to their separate locations, he noted before turning to Ratchet for instructions.
”Jazz, take the girl to a human medical unit. Viral goes as back up, Prowl comes with me.”
“Yessir,” he replied turning on his heel to face the injured human with what he hoped was a friendly look. How humans could cope with damage like that was beyond him, though. They seemed so frail; like they could break easily (this girl was further proof of that). It was hard not to admire their strength though.
“Nothin’ much.” If he kept up a conversation he might keep her from losing conscious. Now if only he could think of something to say to the girl. Quickly he transformed into vehicle mode, popping open the passenger door so she could climb in and they could be off. “Hop in. You comin’, Viral?” [/blockquote]

Adrian winced as she slid into Jazz's passenger seat, partially from the pain and partially because she knew she had bloodied his seats. Jazz seemed nice, and it felt rude to bleed all over him even though she couldn't help it much.
"Thanks. And sorry about my blood..." She apologized softly and glanced back at Viral.
